A perfect example of a very contemporary master bedroom. The space itself is very minimalist with one bold artwork (not even hung on the wall – you can just place it against the wall) and a few select details. The bed itself is very much in fashion right now and is a low set base with upholstered edges that remind a bit of a Japanese style. The painted brickwork behind the bed adds a subtle bit of texture which combines very well with the carpet.
A very rich and layered bedroom design that makes full use of the high ceiling. The shag rug works perfectly with the rich color of the wooden floor which is subtly picked up by the cornice. The subtle change of texture with the wallpaper still matches perfectly with the wall color and also is used on the ceiling which is quite unusual but a great idea. The use of the black lamp shades is repeated throughout and helps to bind the design together.
